Terms of use

Plain-language summary of the rules for adding content to IADB. The site owner should review this text before launch.

What you can add

Anyone with an account can add studios, shows and pages for the people who worked on them. You must own the work or have permission from the people involved, and everything you submit must be accurate.

Review before publishing

Every new studio, show and person page is checked by an admin before it appears on the site. Once approved, you can edit the text straight away; admins are told about the change. New posters, logos and photos are always reviewed before they replace the current image.

Not allowed

• Offensive, hateful, sexual, violent or harassing content, or bad language.
• Code, scripts, spam, or links to malware, phishing, link shorteners or unrelated sites.
• Images you don’t have the right to use, or images that break these rules.
• Pretending to be someone else, or creating a page for a real person without their permission.
• Duplicate pages for a person or show that already exists.

Our automatic filter blocks some of this when you submit. Admins may reject, edit or remove anything that breaks these terms, and may disable accounts that repeatedly do.

Your account

Keep your password private. You can change your name and password on your account page. To delete your account and content, contact us.
